Description:
Jangye-Ryn also known as Dollar Cove is a rocky beach with nice sandy patches, close to Church Cove on the Lizard peninsula.
Safety:
Signs warn of strong undercurrents, submerged rocks, deep shelving beach at high tide and unstable cliffs. Also do not use inflatables. See Beach Safety Guide.
Access:
There is a short level walk from the Church Cove car park to Jangye-Ryn beach and final access is via a short pebble slope with several steps.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed all year.
Directions:
Church Cove is approximately 5 miles from Helston. Approach Helston on the A394 from the east or west. Alternatively drive to Redruth on the A30 and at Redruth take the B3297 to Helston. At Helston follow the A3083 to Lizard. About 2 miles after Helston turn right to Gunwalloe (signposted to Gunwalloe and Church Cove). Continue on this road through the villages of Berepper and Gunwalloe and continue on this road to the Church Cove car park. Jangye-Ryn Beach is a short walk from the Church Cove car park.
