Porthkerris is a large pebble beach on the east of the Lizard peninsula. The beach is usually fairly quiet as it is not well known and a bit remote, though it is popular with divers.

Directions:
Porthkerris is approximately 14 miles from Helston. Approach Helston on the A394 from the east or west. Alternatively drive to Redruth on the A30 and at Redruth take the B3297 to Helston. At Helston follow the A3083 to Lizard. About 2 miles after Helston, just after Culdrose Airfield, turn left onto the B3293 (signposted to St Keverne). Continue on the B3293 for about 8 to 9 miles until St Keverne. Drive through St Keverne and continue on this road for about a mile until Porthoustock. Drive through Porthoustock and continue on this road for several miles until a right turning for Porthkerris. Keep on this lane for about a mile before the road decends to Porthkerris Beach.
