Description:
Maenporth Beach is a pleasant sheltered sandy beach with level access. Parking and toilets are close to the beach, though note that the car park is rather small. There is excellent coast path walking from Maenporth north to Falmouth and south to Rosemullion Head. There are also some quiet pebble/rocky beaches to the south of Maenporth including Bream Cove and Prisk Cove.

Dogs are banned on Maenporth Beach from 1st July to 31st August (10am to 6pm).
Directions:
Falmouth is about 10 miles from Truro. From east or west take the A390 to Truro and at Truro follow the directions for Falmouth on the A39. Approaching Falmouth, pass the reservoir and then at the next roundabout (the Hillhead Roundabout) turn right (signposted to Mawnan Smith). Continue on this road for about 3 miles to reach Maenporth.
