Description:
Portscatho is an attractive fishing village with a sandy harbour and a beach which is mainly rock but with sandy patches. Portscatho Beach stretches all the way to Porthcurnick Beach to the north.

Access:
There is a sloping path from the car park to the village, which takes about 10 minutes to walk. There is a sloping slipway to the harbour.

Dogs banned from Easter Day to 1st October.
Directions:
Portscatho is 13 miles from Truro and 16 miles from St Austell. Aproaching from the east or west on the A390 about 4 miles east of Truro turn onto the A3078 for St Mawes. Continue on the A3078 until Trewithian. At Trewithian turn left for Portscatho (where signposted to Portscatho). Take the next left and there is a small car park just before Portscatho village.
