Description:
Readymoney Beach is a small and sheltered sandy beach on the outskirts of Fowey which is a very pleasant town with much to see. There are also patches of sand on the Fowey waterfront by Whitehouse Point. From Readymoney Beach its worth climbing up to St Catherines Castle for some spectacular views of the Fowey estuary.

Access:
There is a sloping path from the Readymoney Beach car park to Readymoney Beach taking about 10 minutes to walk.
Dogs:
Dogs are banned on Readymoney Beach from 1st July to 31st August (10am to 6pm).
Directions:
Fowey is 9 miles from St Austell and 19 miles from Liskeard. Approach from east or west on the A390. 2 miles west of Lostwithiel turn onto the B3269 (signposted to Fowey). Continue on this road until a roundabout and here go straight across (onto the A3082 again signposted to Fowey) and turn left at the next two roundabouts. Instead of driving down into Fowey follow the road (which becomes Hanson Drive) above the town for car parking. The Readymoney Beach car park is a 10 minute walk from Readymoney Beach.

1 car park (60 cars) close to Readymoney Beach. There is also a larger car park (450 cars) close to Fowey town centre on Hanson Drive.
