Duckpool Beach

Location:
North Cornwall.
Description:
Duckpool Beach is a pleasant sheltered pebble beach at the mouth of the Coombe Valley in North Cornwall. At low tide there is a large expanse of sand.
Safety:
Signs warn of rip currents, large breaking waves, risk of cliff falls and not to use inflatables when windy. See Beach Safety Guide.
Access:
Although car parking is close to the beach, in order to reach the beach it is necessary to cross a stream and climb over a ridge of pebbles/boulders.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed all year.
Directions:
Duckpool Beach is approximately 21 miles from Camelford and 30 miles from Wadebridge. Take the A39 from Wadebridge or Camelford. Shortly before Kilkhampton turn left (signposted to Sandymouth) and follow this road through Stibb. Several miles after Stibb turn left (signposted to Duckpool) and follow the valley down to Duckpool Beach.
