Trebarwith Strand Beach

Location:
North Cornwall.
Description:
Trebarwith Strand is a super sandy beach which is popular with families and surfers. Note that the beach is completely covered by high tide for several hours.
Safety:
Signs warn of strong undercurrents, large breaking waves and a risk of falling rocks. See Beach Safety Guide.
Access:
There is a 5 minute sloping walk from the main car park along the road to the beach. Final access to the beach at Trebarwith Strand is by walking down over rocks to the beach. This is not suitable for wheel chairs.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed all year at Trebarwith Strand.
Directions:
Trebarwith Strand is 11 miles from Wadebridge. Take the A39 from Wadebridge north to Camelford. At Camelford take the B3266 (signposted to Boscastle) and follow the B3266 out of Camelford. Then at a crossroads turn left onto the B3314 where signposted to Tintagel. Stay on the B3314 for a short distance and then turn right onto the B3263 (signposted to Trebarwith Strand). Continue on this road for several miles until a left turning for Trebarwith Strand. Follow this road down the valley to Trebarwith Strand.

1 large council run car park a 5 minute walk from Trebarwith Strand Beach. There is also a small car park close to the beach.
