Description:
Porthgwarra is a small fishing village with a narrow sandy beach, flanked on either side by rocks. Parking and toilets are close to the beach.

Access to the beach is via a short paved slope, which is too steep for wheel chairs.
Dogs:
Dogs are banned on Porthgwarra Beach from 1st July to 31st August (10am to 6pm).
Directions:
Porthgwarra is 10 miles from Penzance which is 27 miles from Truro. Approach Penzance on the A30. There are a number of routes to Porthgwarra from Penzance. The easiest is to follow the A30 from Penzance to Sennen. Drive through Sennen and then take a left turning onto the B3315 (signposted to Porthcurno). Continue on this road for several miles until a small hamlet called Polgigga and here turn right signposted for Porthgwarra. Follow this road for a few miles down to Porthgwarra.
