Kenneggy Sand Beach

Kenneggy Sand is a nice sandy beach but with no facilities or parking and difficult access. Park at Bessy's Cove or Praa Sands and walk the coast path (takes 20 minutes from Bessy's Cove).
The final descent to the beach is via 2 chain ladders which look dangerous. There is a risk of getting cut off at high tide. See Beach Safety Guide.
The final descent to Kenneggy Sand is via 2 chain type ladders which look dangerous and are definitely not suitable for families. At low tide it is possible to walk across the rocks from Coules's Cove to Kenneggy Sand.
Dogs allowed all year at Kenneggy Sand.
Bessy's Cove (part of Prussia Cove) is about 1 mile from Rosudgeon which is about 7 miles from Helston. Take the A394 west from Helston or east from Marazion. At the village of Rosudgeon turn south for Prussia Cove (signposted to Prussia Cove). At the Bessy's Cove car park walk the coast path east to Kenneggy Sand. Alternatively park at Praa Sands and walk the coast path west.
