Lizard

Carbis Bay is a large sheltered beach with perfect white sand. The car park by the beach at Carbis Bay is rather small but all facilities are close to the beach. Dogs banned in summer.

Carlyon Bay. At Carlyon Bay there is a long sandy beach which is currently being re-developed but is open to the public. The whole of the seafront is accessible. Dogs banned from Easter to October 1st

Castle Beach, Falmouth is a rocky/sandy beach to the west of Pendennis Point, Falmouth. There are lots of rock pools on Castle Beach at low tide. Pendennis Castle can be visited and there is lots to see in Falmouth. Dogs banned in summer

Chapel Porth Beach is a small sandy cove which extends to an excellent wide beach at low tide. The sand at Chapel Porth is covered at high tide. The coast path can be walked to St Agnes Head for spectacular views. The Wheal Coates mine can also be visited. Dogs banned in summer

At Crackington Haven there is a popular sand and pebble beach with plenty of sand at low tide. There are also rock pools at low tide. Parking and facilities are close to the beach.
