Description:
Porthcurnick Beach is a wide sandy beach with rock pools and a slipway. Porthcurnick Beach is private but access is allowed. There is a shop and toilets in summer.

Access:
From the road parking at Rosevine there is a slipway to the beach, suitable for wheelchairs. Alternatively park in the Portscatho car park. The walk from the Portscatho car park takes about 5 minutes and final access to the beach is via steep steps.

Dogs allowed all year at Porthcurnick Beach.
Directions:
Porthcurnick Beach is 13 miles from Truro and 16 miles from St Austell. Aproaching from the east or west on the A390 about 4 miles east of Truro turn onto the A3078 for St Mawes. Continue on the A3078 until the village of Trewithian. At Trewithian turn left for Portscatho. Take the next left and there is a small car park just before Portscatho. Walk the coast path to Porthcurnick Beach. Alternatively at Trewithian, turn left to Rosevine for limited road parking.

The Portscatho car park is a 5 minute walk from the beach. There is also limited road parking by the beach, just after Rosevine.

Yes, summer only. There are also toilets in Porthscatho, which is a 15 minute walk away.
